Traditionally India had some of the best farm animals in the world, most high compliant heritable stock. Increasing population meant a rising demand for milk. “tabela” (which people have no of buffalos and cows) owners are keen to maximize their profits.
In gujarat 1946 when Amul came into reality and a new beginning of farmer-owned organized dairy cooperative movement initiates. AMUL providing a fair market access and profitable prices to the farmers along with services such balanced cattle feed supply, veterinary troubles, frozen semen and etc. the supplies of milk production and its productivity started rocking.
